IT’S THIS EASY.

  • Download the free iOS app on the Apple App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hitting-approach/id1544657302) and purchase with the same login information on the Hitting Approach website.

  • See below. It’s easy to add players. Make sure to provide their email addresses (we will not solicite players) in order to provide them access to post game reports.

  • Begin logging games on the app. The data automatically syncs with the cloud when the game ends or the device gains internet access.

  • Login to the HA cloud to view your data and send out post game reports.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Choose your opponent, date, time, season, and game type (exhibition, regular season, post season, or intersquad).

  • Open the app on your Apple device to the home screen and click the center button to start logging a game.

  • Set your lineup, and opposition's lineup.

  • Choose a pitch type and then tap in the zone where the pitch was thrown.

  • What happened? Choose contact options, swing and miss, out or safe, what base the batter reached, and where the ball was hit?

  • When a game is finished, visit the Hitting Approach stats website to view your data.

  • Click on an individual player for access to heat maps and plot charts that can be filtered for more detailed information.

  • Spray charts and hard hit ball data are also available for each hitter.
